A new dawn amid Covid-19: The rise of the employee

I’ve recently had the pleasure of speaking with communications experts from our customers ranging from ADM and Dow, through to OSF Healthcare and PVH, about how their businesses have adapted in light of COVID-19 and the steps they’re now taking to prepare their employees for a new way of working in some shape or form. As we talked, I experienced this incredible sensation of hope and the realisation that despite everything we are going through we’re on the cusp of something...

Companies stuck in the same gear of doing things in the old way – merely oiling the moving parts of the aging corporate machine, making money, and delighting shareholders – are slowly slipping into obscurity. Instead, we are now seeing the increasing rise of the business that puts all stakeholders at the centre of all things. It is a new form of stakeholder capitalism that shifts the business compass from what it perceives to be doing good – to actually doing...

The resilience, scalability and reliability of the cloud are taking centre stage as organisations strive to keep businesses operating as normal during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the nature of software development evolves, so should your dev team

Companies have been leaning on the waterfall method of software development since the 1970s. But tech has changed a lot since then — so shouldn’t development processes, too?

Why the resilience of your organisation is a reflection of human strength

Back in 2003 the Harvard Business Review published an article, “The Quest for Resilience” . It stated that “The world is becoming turbulent faster than organisations are becoming resilient.” Fast forward some 17 years and while many companies have improved their ability to respond to the ebbs and flows of business it’s fair to say that no one could have anticipated our current predicament.

The point the article made back then still resonates today. “In the past,...

Five key reasons to adopt API management SaaS

In our modern technology infrastructure, API usage is growing rapidly, driven in many cases by digital transformation, a platform approach, growing ecosystems, innovation demands and increasing regulations.

But APIs have been in the technology canvas for nearly two decades, with almost all the major software vendors releasing their APIs after the year 2000. For example, Salesforce and eBay released their APIs in 2000, Amazon in 2002, and Facebook in 2006. Today, APIs are a...
